The Mission has served the people of Otago and Southland for over 125 years. We believe in doing what is right – not what is easy – and our programmes aim to make a lasting difference in the lives of families across the southern region.
The Mission’s work develops skills and resiliency in the people we engage with and our purpose statement is Change that Works: Enough Support and Challenge for you to Risk a Better Future.
The Mission delivers over twenty programmes throughout Otago and Southland, including: essential support services for young families, affordable early childhood education, social work support for families and individuals, free second-chance education for youth and adult learners, literacy and parenting programmes in prisons, community development projects, client advocacy work, and research projects on important community and social issues.
Your contribution through a Kiwi Karma booking will help create positive changes for individuals and families throughout the south.
